Single-Pass Reverser Osmosis Pure Water System Process Description

Raw water first enters the raw water tank, where it is stored and regulated before treatment. A raw water pump then delivers the water to the quartz sand filter, which removes suspended solids and larger particles. The water subsequently passes through the activated carbon filter to reduce residual chlorine, organic matter, odors, and other contaminants. After that, it flows through the cartridge filter, which provides fine filtration and protects the downstream equipment. The filtered water is pressurized by the high-pressure pump and sent to the reverse osmosis (RO) unit. Inside the RO unit, the membrane separates the feed water into purified water and concentrated water. The purified water is collected in the pure water tank and then supplied to the required points of use, while the concentrated water is discharged through the concentrate outlet. Drainage points are provided for routine maintenance and system cleaning.
